11 The Gables

We come to Lyme regularly, this flat is so sweet very comfortable and extremely convenient and close to everything.

We will be back !

This was a lovely little apartment that has been decorated to a great standard and has everything you would need for a break away.

Great heating, even on the coldest of days. It was almost too good, as the apartment continued to warm to 3–4 degrees above the set temperature after it switched off, and we often opened windows to cool down. The apartment is beautiful and in a great location, with the bonus of a car parking space. Everything you could possibly need could be found in the cupboards and wardrobe. It felt like a home from home, especially with the welcome pack. All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing week in Lyme Regis.

We enjoyed our third stay at the property.

It was exactly as expected from last time - cosy, warm and welcoming, high standard of furnishings, lovely shower and comfy bed. The place will be 5 stars when the sofa is replaced. It is just not conformable for wintry evenings in. We look forward to returning.

We have stayed here many times now over the last 7 years, and it never disappoints.

Local for the beach and shops, and the biggest thing is a secure car space.

This was my fourth stay and its always lovely.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean and well equiped. The location is perfect.

Everything was fine except I found the parking very narrow in @ out of the accommodation.

You had to either reverse in or out. Reversing out was onto a main road. Reversing in from a main road also bad. I would therefore think twice about using the accommodations anymore.

We loved the apartment.

It was very nicely decorated and clean with all the amenities that we could need. Great location and amazing to have a parking space.

Lovely little place which was well equipped .

location perfect felt safe .just 2 little comments …parking a little snug ( nothing can be done ) settee was uncomfortable but functional .

Really comfortable stay here, was very well equipped and close to all amenities/beach and parking was an added bonus.

Only downside we found was there was no food storage space but we managed & didn’t spoil anything about our stay.

Great location.

Sofa bed in lounge extremely uncomfortable to sit on and the chairs equally uncomfortable. No hair and makeup station which could easily be sorted out. Dishes needed washing again before use. We felt mislead by the 4.9 stars and outstanding property headline. Disappointed and would not return to this property although would use Lyme Bay Holidays again as have had better experiences in the past

Tv signal was poor.

Parking should be explained. Not have to find out from Tripadvisor. But great apartment, great location for Lyme.

Our second stay.

Such a wonderful apartment and location. Generous welcome pack and beautiful Christmas tree. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the sofa. It's a sofa bed and not particularly comfortable when in sofa position. Everything else is fabulous. Thank you.

Everything was perfect about the properly and location.

The flat was perfectly clean and had everything we could have needed and the little welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Only little negative was that there were a number of light bulbs that were out and hadn't been replaced, but this really didn't impact our stay. Parking a little awkward, but again not really an issue and a definite plus to have a designated space at the property. All in all a fantastic stay and we would absolutely return to the gables.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean.

It's in a great location close to the shops and sea front. It has the added bonus of a parking space. The access to the space is very tight but in a small car (fiesta) really wasn't too bad to navigate.

The property was very clean, with everything we needed catered for.

It was ideally located, just a short walk to the beach, harbour, shops and pubs. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending a stay at 11 The Gables to family and friends. Thank you.

What a lovely place to stay.

Well equipped. Stylish. Well positioned. Clean. We think it is the best we have used in Lyme and elsewhere. . We would be very happy to book again when we plan a return visit. Do not know when this will be but we will be back. Be aware of the notes regarding parking. The parking space is OK but the drive to it is very tight, just be brave!

The only problem was reversing the car

No 11 was gorgeous.

Lovely and peaceful apart from the pesky seagulls who are seemingly awake all night!! All facilities perfect and my oldest and best friend and I really enjoyed our far too short stay.

My fourth time staying here and as usual, lovely.

Ideal location with the additional plus of car parking. The apartment is spacious, light and beautifully finished. I will definitely be back! (The only slight criticism is that, though there was a request to put used sheets and towels in specified bags on departure, there were no empty bags and it seemed as if there were bags of previously used laundry in the wardrobe.)

Was a very pleasant stay for 3 nights break, No traffic noise etc.

A fantastic apartment in a fantastic location.

Spacious yet cosy, comfy bed, amazing shower and well equipped kitchen. The sofa wasn't the comfiest (as it's a sofa bed), however it was fine and not worth knocking any marks off! Generous welcome pack upon arrival too. We will return!

What an incredible place!

Everything about this place was incredible! The facilities were amazing and provided everything that we needed. The bathroom was spacious, with a really nice shower and bath combination. The kitchen was fantastic and provided everything that we needed! The only thing I would suggest is a manual for the microwave, as we couldn’t work it out. But this wasn’t an essential thing. If you also want somewhere that is close by and in a really good location to other areas, this is the place! The parking space is ideal for a smallish car, but still quite tight, however extremely handy. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning!

Perfect and as described

The property was beautifully decorated and so clean and fresh.

The location was perfect for a short walk to the lovely restaurants, shops and sea front. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. It was a true home from home.

In a word it was superb in every way.

The apartment was spotless, decor fantastic, perfectly situated for everything and parking!!!They had catered for everyone’s needs plus the lovely gift of a food bag with yummy things in it . The whole holiday from the moment of booking to leaving was extremely efficient and organised. We would like to say a huge thank you to all concerned, regardless of Storm Patricia we had one of the best holidays ever and will be back !!!!

My third stay at this lovely apartmennt and, though the weather was dreadful, I had a most ejoyable week.

Being just a few minutes walk to the seafront and town centre makes it most convenent. Parking is another plus. The apartment is light, well equiped and comfortable. (The only slight downside is there is no hand-held shower attachment to aid hair washing, rather than just the rainfall shower)

We have stayed there 5 times now, it has everything we want and is in a great location.

Also because we go out of season it has always been a reasonable price and quiet.

Lovely flat in lovely location of beautiful Lyme Regis.

No grand views but a bright, clean and cosy property with parking, although thats a bit of a reversing challenge.

A beautifully presented and well maintained property in a great position for the town and seafront, our third visit, enough said!

The only reason I have knocked a few stars off this review is nothing to do with the property, location, facilities etc.

. but we were there during the very hot heatwave the uk was experiencing. In their defence, the owners warned the property could get very hot and fans were provided, but the ever more unpredictable uk weather made it absolutely impossible to stay cool. The welcome pack and facilities and location were fab. Thank you.

The accommodation is well presented and met our expectations. The lack of any outside space and the difficult drive access may deter some.

This is our second visit to the property and we enjoyed it just as much second time around The property is clean, cosy and comfortable with everything we need to hand.

Parking is a bonus as we like to leave the car and explore Lyme. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome pack and having fresh milk in the fridge when you are travel weary and need a nice cuppa is an added bonus We will definitely be booking again!! Debbie & Patrick
