A short walk to the viewpoint by the Mary Anning statue and to all the restaurants and shops and to walk along the beach early morning.

“A lovely spacious, well equipped apartment, in a convenient location.”

It was helpful being able to load/unload outside the apartment. The parking permit was much appreciated. The car park is up a short steep hill, but not far away. The apartment is minutes from amenities. The outside isn’t much to look at, but inside is nicely furnished and we found it lovely for a weeks stay, The shower was great, the double bed was comfortable and the kitchen was really nicely furnished, although we only ate breakfast in the apartment. Washing up liquid, dishcloths and dishwasher tablets were provided. There was a hairdryer, a clothes horse, an iron and ironing board. The apartment was warm, so we left the windows open during the day, but closed them during the night due to the traffic noise. Our favourite restaurant was Swim and would recommend the Town Mill area. We enjoyed a day out on the Seaton Tramway.

“We absolutely loved our stay at Bahari.”

The apartment was spacious & spotlessly clean & beautifully appointed. The beds were comfortable and there was enough seating & equipment for all guests. We have stayed at a number of places in & around Lyme Regis throughout the years & this was probably the best one. Thank you.

“After non-functioning oven was very promptly sorted, found flat very comfortable, not least the beds!”

Slightly disturbed by noise from flat above and even more by the noisy main road, but to be fair, the heat was hideous that week so had to have windows open. Grateful for fan supplied. Provision of basics like kitchen roll and washing-up liquid would have been appreciated. The main negative (especially for older visitors) was the shower which had to be held and was not adjustable from the wall (neither in angle nor height). It would be SO simple to have an inexpensive shower that did not have to be held while washing, however good the flow.

Good evening. Thanks for the honest feedback - we will speak to Sykes about this as there are vast quantities of washing-up liquid, hand soap as well as a get-you-in pack with toilet rolls, tea / coffee and biscuits etc. Similarly, we've had gorillas staying previously who have damaged the shower head pole and thermostatic valve - so the new setup was meant to be a simple solution. The shower was on a pole to allow it to be adjusted up down and at any angle the user requires by pushing the button. We haven't been there since Easter, so it might have been broken again. So sorry to hear that you found it a faff, we will chase Sykes; we otherwise hope that you still had a good time in Lyme Regis. We will get onto these points. Property Owner

“We had a lovely long weekend in Lyme Regis.”

We’ve visited many times before so, know the town well. Bahari is in a great location and had everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The road at the front is quite noisy but, not a problem at night. The view from the lounge is not very picturesque, but you are so close to the sea. We didn’t stay in much, just enjoyed the weather and food out and about. Our only recommendation would be for the bathroom door to be completely frosted! We would stay again.

“Very clean and modern flat, really impressed.”

Had everything we needed and well located for beach, coastal path and shops. Recommend cutting through the church opposite to access the sea front as you get great views looking down towards the beach. The Chinese takeaway under the flat serves very tasty food and the local chip shop is also a good place for a reasonably priced supper.

“Very nicely fitted out flat beautiful decor and very comfortable.”

Just a small point the glass in the half glazed bathroom door was partially clear and therefore not very private. A bit awkward as was staying with a friend.

“This is a lovely convenient and very well kept property.”

Very close to beach and town. Do not be put off by the rather steep metal staircase at the rear. All is of the highest standard. Beds and bedding, immaculate kitchen and bathroom are excellent. A useful inner hall before the property door is useful for shoes, umbrellas etc. A sea view from the bedrooms adds to the charm, 2 minutes walk to coastal views. Will come again.

“It was a lovely flat and very comfortable.”

My only comment is that a very thick 10.5 tog duvet was far too hot as the flat was quite warm. We were fine after we took the duvet out of the cover and just used the cover.

“We have had a wonderful week in Lyme Regis, despite mixed weather.”

Recommend The Millside, La Gigi Thai & the rhubarb cider from the Lyme Regis Brewery! The Hive cafe at Burton Bradstock and The Crab House cafe at Wyke Regis just outside Portand. The apartment was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen and great shower! Many thank.

“On initial approach property looks very unwelcoming due to outside issues of overgrown car park and metal staircase.”

however, once inside property everything is excellent although supply of a toilet roll would have been preferable to the welcome pack. Despite this, I would be happy to stay here again.

The yard was due to be resurfaced in April last year, and the owner will now do it at the end of the summer - so the entrance should look splendid soon.
