    “Beautiful comfortable homely cottage.”

    Instructions for the coffee machine would be useful, and availability of a small supply of wood for the fire would have been nice. The property details warn of the steepness of the approach to the property and a couple of internal stairs between rooms, but no mention of the steepness of the staircase and lack of a handrail, which may have been a problem for some visitors. Cold tap in bathroom plumbed wrongly so it turns on in opposite way to normal - we thought it was inoperable on the first ...

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!

Note: The Cottage is accessed via a steep pedestrianised lane and access to Woodmead Carpark can only be accessed by navigating the steep hill - access is not suitable for the elderly or people who struggle with mobility.
Note: Please be aware that the property is visited by a gardener once every two weeks to keep the property looking lovely and for your enjoyment. They will attend on alternative Thursdays between 1pm- 5pm and will knock to check you are happy for them to access the back garden through the property. This is starting from the 26th March 2026 and will run until the end of Dec, starting again in March 2027.
