    “Fantastic Location, we could not of wished for anything better.”

    The Cottage was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with plenty of TV channel's, games, and DVDs. we also received a welcome pack which was a really nice touch. Only downside was the plumbing, as there is an air bubble somewhere as the cold water tap screamed at us (startled us at first LOL), and this tap is very hard to turn to stop the dripping. Its also an old house, so it creeks, but its a very nice place to stay.

The property

Situated in one of the oldest and prettiest lanes in Lyme Regis, this period cottage provides an attractive and comfortable holiday home. The cottage retains many period features, including window seats and exposed beams. The age of the property does mean that some of the doorways have restricted height but the ceilings are not particularly low. Sherborne Lane is too narrow to allow through traffic and is therefore one of the quietest spots in the centre of town. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. A pretty cottage garden at the rear provides a private area for enjoying a glass of wine or soaking up the early evening sunshine. This property is only a few minutes walk from the shops and seafront. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
