The Annexe, St Agnes House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay its a great spot and very convenient for the shops and beach.

Not so good if you can't manage stairs or hills. I think 2 bath towels are needed per person for a weeks stay considering there isn't a washing machine . Also the fridge ice box is very small and was in need of defrosting and it didnt keep our tub of icecream frozen. All in all we had a good stay.

This was our second visit to the Annexe which offers a good central position for exploring Lyme Regis and surrounding areas.

The cottage suits our needs. It isn't pristine and pretty but the bed is comfortable and clean and the parking was this time manageable as we were out of the busy summer season and that made things much easier. We expect to return sometime next spring (2026).

This place is very conveniently located for walking into the town and to the beach.

It was generally clean and well equipped (although the decor is quite basic if you worry about that). The top bedroom is by far the best room, it is a lovely spacious room with a sea view. If it was my place, I would have put a sofa bed up there and made that the main room. The lounge area is on a small landing, slightly eccentric, but got used to it. A few things to note: -As in most of Lyme Regis parking is difficult, we eventually found a place but had to walk for about 10 minutes up a hill. -We would have liked more detailed instructions: we had to phone to find the wifi code and there was no indication on how to recycle our waste. -You will need to go up and down stairs a lot (which is clearly stated) so make sure you are up for this.

This accommodation is lovely but tired if I’m honest I think the space called the snug could be set out better I would put the tele on the wall and 2 small 2 seater settees.

the property is located well but would advise that the hills are steep,and wood land walk is the easiest and best way up and down.

Lovely quirky accommodation!

All the stairs prepared me for the hilly walking in the area! I loved the bedroom with sea views and the annexe was very quiet and peaceful despite close proximity to shops and sea front (and lovely walks!). A small settee in the sitting area would probably make it more appealing but altogether it is a comfortable and cosy place to stay and I would love to stay here again in the future.

damp when you walk in needs a refurb to many stairs for us best room was the bedroom lovely comfy large bed parking was really bad had to move car every morning at 7am walk up cardiac hill to move it then find another place to park if we left it there more money it cost us 65 pounds as it was would not go back
