    “One of the best properties we have stayed in at Lyme over the years of visiting, the property was spacious, cozy and warm and had most things needed.”

    My only negative if I had to give any would be the cleanliness off the decking, this has not been swept for sometime and the last occupants had missed cleaning up after a dog. We sorted this ourselves but would have been nice if the cleaning team had just checked it before our arrival.

The property

Sherborne Lane is a secluded pedestrian lane in the heart of Lyme Regis within easy reach of the town centre and the nearby River Lym walk. With its origins stretching back to Saxon times, Sherborne Lane is a mix of quaint and colourful period cottages of individual character and style. The independent shops, restaurants and beaches are all within a short walk away, making this an ideal location from which to explore this historic and picturesque seaside town. Waverley is a delightful cottage, mixing both contemporary and character features. The open-plan living area with woodburning stove is inviting and leads out onto a raised decked veranda with some lovely views out over the rooftops of Lyme Regis. Steps down from the veranda take you to an enclosed courtyard seating area, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, a double and a twin room, with a family bathroom on the first floor and a shower room on the ground floor. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!
