“Staying at Coram Towers felt an absolute treat.”

The apartment was beautiful in terms of both cleanliness and location. We could see the sea from our kitchen and lounge windows over the cars in the car park. It made an ideal base to go out and about into Devon and Dorset. There are some quaint and quirky little shops in Lyme Regis, all worth a visit. The restored Town Mill is also very interesting and in a beautiful setting. The delicious welcome pack and milk in the fridge on arrival was an added bonus after a long drive. Bridport’s ...

The restored Town Mill is also very interesting and in a beautiful setting. The delicious welcome pack and milk in the fridge on arrival was an added bonus after a long drive. Bridport’s Saturday Market was the place to pick up an eclectic bargain. Weymouth with its unique blend of Georgian splendour and sandy beaches makes it ideal for families and couples alike. There are some nice National Trust Properties, notably the 16-sided A La Ronde and Killerton House. The history of ladies knickers boosted our enjoyment of the trip. The view of the Exe Estuary from Killerton House stirred ideas of days of old and pirates. Would definitely recommend Lyme Regis as a location and Coram Tower was just stylish and gorgeous.

“Our first experience of an Air BNB was pleasantly enjoyed here.”

On arrival we were greeted with a lovely Welcome bag of local delicious goodies and also some milk in the fridge which was much appreciated. The facilities within the flat were more than acceptable with nice crisp bedding and pure white quality towels .....and a good sea view too. We will definitely look to return to Coram Tower - a fabulous building and added bonus of parking which in Lyme Regis is a definite must for us. Our thanks to the owners. Kind regards. Tina & Nigel

“The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need for a good holiday.”

A couple of negative comments would be that the bed is too low for older guests and that would be a valid reason why we would hesitate to return to the apartment, and also the mirror in the bathroom is too high and anyone of shorter height will have a problem with it. Lyme Regis is a lovely place for a holiday and Coram Tower is in a great location.

“We had a lovely holiday, the apartment was very nice,but the bed was very low and although comfortable it was hard to get in and out as we are of the older generation.”

Lots to do and see in the area,but you might warn people that it is very hilly and people might find it difficult to walk back up the hill.We would love to go again if we could find some where at the bottom of Lyme Regis and not at the top of the hill.All in all the pubs and restaurants were a delight and very reasonable.

The fridge needs checking it rarely reached temp and so was running all of the time

“Property was well situated, very clean and comfortable.”

Shower was a bit temperamental as pressure kept dropping meaning a bit tricky to get hot. Washing machine proved difficult to get door open despite manufacturer instructions. Not sure if faulty or just needs some idiot proof instructions for basic wash cycle. Maybe some instructions for waste disposal as we didn't see bins until last day as we weren't in a car and bins are in car park.

The 40 stairs to the accommodation might not be suitable for some people, but the private car parking space was perfect while holidaying in Lyme Regis.

“We've stayed here many times.”

It has parking which is prime in Lyme Regis. It's in an ideal location as long as you don't mind hill walking. The apartment is perfect for a couple. It's a lovely grade 2 building with mullion windows (as they aren't double glazed there can be a bit of traffic noise). We'll definitely be back.

The walk up the hill from town is tough but Lyme is hilly. The apartment is lovely, tastefully furnished, well-equipped and a parking space in Lyme is like gold. Fab welcome pack. Very enjoyable stay.

“The apartment is ideally located for shops, pubs, restaurants and beach, although at certain times of the day this means that there is a bit of traffic noise.”

Being on the second floor, there are sea views but I would not recommend it for persons with mobility issues. It is well equipped but could do with a bit more storage space in the kitchen. I did not give the property 4 out of 4 for facilities and maintenance as the coffee table legs broke and the kitchen extractor hood stopped working. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the parking was ideal. These are small problems, easily fixed but overall this apartment was good and we enjoyed our holiday.

“We enjoyed our stay in the property.”

We like exercise, so it was no problem for us being on the second floor, and having a bit of a steep walk into town. The apartment is perfect for a couple, with everything you need, and a good amount of space, clean and modern. The welcome hamper was a nice touch, more properties should do that! It was quiet in the town while we were there, (just out of season) and the parking space was very useful. Lots to do in the town and the local area, with very good coastal walks and eating places.

“Hello, generally the apartment lived up to expectations.”

The kitchen was smaller than anticipated, with the lack of cutlery storage, and cookware stored up high, points of difficulty. My wife found the mirrors positioned unhelpfully, the showerroom mirror too high, the bedroom mirror too low to be useful. It was noticed that there was an excess of cleaning tools stored in the rooms, why? (Two floor mops, two standing dustpans, for example!,) We also saw that cleaning equipment was stored in plain sight behind the open doors, not helpful and gave the impression of clutter.

“It was very sunny during our stay so it would have helped if the blinds had been down when we arrived to keep the room cool.”

Additionally a blind in the kitchen would have helped the heat situation as the sun shines in there for most of the day. I would have liked a second light in the living room. There was a lot of stuff stored in the wardrobe which meant its use was restricted but I can see there is little room to store stuff in the flat. Although I have made these comments the flat was great and had everything we needed was there. The welcome pack was lovely, the fudge, biscuits and flapjacks were delicious.

“The appartment is bright clean and welcoming.”

The shared entrance hall and staircases are also clean and tidy and create a good first impression. The building is in a good location and we really appreciated the allocated parking space. The garden area is well maintained and we did sit there on the bench. The outside light by the main front door is not working and that should be fixed as the evenings get darker in autumn. Thank you again Lyme Bay Holidays for a lovely seaside stay - I think we have come back to Lyme 6 times now!

Our only criticisms are the sofa isn't very comfortable, there's not much hanging space for clothes and the lights in the lounge are either too bright or not bright enough. Another standard lamp would help.

“A compact apartment that met our needs (i.”

E. clean, comfortable bed, very small kitchen that was adequate for making breakfast and a sandwich) being on the second floor the view was somewhat restricted by large trees and the side of the building and that was a minor disappointment. The dishwasher needs salt so we didn’t use it. The charge we paid was discounted, had it not been we would have felt it was expensive for what it was.

If I was being critical I would say that the kitchen, although very well equipped is a bit tight and the TV is a bit small. The bed is low and has a memory foam mattress which may not be to everyone’s liking. It is a steep climb on foot from the harbour so not one for the less able but Lyme Regis is a very appealing destination and we had a really enjoyable holiday.

The only things I would add is a foot stool for whoever is sitting in the armchair so you could put your feet up after a long walk on the beach and maybe a couple of throws to make the sofa/armchair a bit more comfortable (leather furniture can be a bit sticky). Otherwise, a lovely stay in a perfect little apartment in a great seaside town.

“Lovely clean apartment.”

Perfect for the two of us. The parking space was a real advantage in Lyme Regis. The blind in the bedroom does not cover the window well enough to block out the light so we were awake at 4am! We booked the apartment as it had a garden but the large tree blocks any sun so we were unable to sit out and take advantage of the fantastic weather. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are quite a few steps up to the apartment.
