“We found Corum lodge to be comfortable and clean.”
The bed was really comfy. It's in a fantastic location, with parking and a garden for our pooch being a real bonus. A welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch.
However, there were some issues which meant that I couldn't give the property 5 stars.
The lodge is compact, which means you have to navigate corners and doorways with care. This being the case the door handles are way too large and stick out too far. I have come home covered in bruises!

The double quilt supplied was too heavy for the summer. We had to sleep with only a sheet on us, but in the early hours it was very cold without a blanket. A summer duvet is needed for the hotter months.
There is an internal step between the livingroom and the bedroom. This should be highlighted in the accommodation description. Our elderly dog couldn't navigate the step which meant we were constantly having to lift him up and down it.
There is a washing machine at the property, which I presumed would have a drying function (it doesn't). The airer that was provided was flimsy and too small. A bigger airer that is stable enough to put outside would have meant a lot less hassle.
There was no fan at the property. Luckily I took my own fan, otherwise it would have been way too hot to sleep without it.
Apart from these issues we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Corum lodge as it is perfect for a couples get away.
