Nobody answered the 24‑hour emergency telephone line. Once we arrived at the property the next day, overall it was okay—I would rate it around 3.5 stars. The toilet smelled really bad, but the rest of the house was clean.
I would say the décor and furniture are only 3‑star standard. It does have a nice view, but at £550 for 2 nights in peak February, it is twice the price of similar properties in the same area.

The actual control was hidden in the top corner of the living room, and I had to stand on a chair to turn the heating up. It was set at 18 degrees in the middle of winter.
