It is beautifully decorated with high-quality furnishings that make it feel like a true home away from home rather than just a holiday rental. The space is very generous, featuring extremely comfortable chairs, a cozy sofa, and excellent beds. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the fresh pint of milk upon arrival.The views are absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing while watching the boats and people go by. It is beautifully decorated with high-quality furnishings that make it feel like a true home away from home rather than just a holiday rental. The space is very generous, featuring extremely comfortable chairs, a cozy sofa, and excellent beds. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the fresh pint of milk upon arrival.The views are absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing while watching the boats and people go by. The kitchen is fully equipped with highly efficient appliances, and having a dedicated parking space so close to the apartment is a massive bonus. The location is ideal: perfectly peaceful and quiet at night (we even heard an owl hooting!), yet only a 10-minute walk to the seafront and 15 minutes from the main shops. The hosts truly thought of everything, including a folder packed with local information, to make our holiday special. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lyme Regis.

The apartment decor is a mixture of tasteful contemporary and vintage. Comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location for Cobb and people watching. View from the property is amazing. Can’t wait to return

“I would not recommend staying at this property.”

The Velux window in the kitchen is broken. I believe it is supposed to open and close automatically in response to the weather. However, when it rains, it opens and closes continuously making a grinding noise that can be heard throughout the flat. And it is impossible to get any sleep! Despite weeks of chasing, neither Lyme Bay Holidays, nor Sykes, were able to provide any satisfactory resolution to the problem.

“We stayed with two kids (sharing the second bedroom) and really loved our stay.”

We would go back. The appartment was clean and well kept, with fantactic views of the coastline. The location is top notch, being a short walk from the main seafront and businesses, but just far enough away to be secluded, quiet and private. The only points of constructive criticism would be that the main double bed matress could do with an update, we felt a bit like we were sliding off the sides of the bed, the oven controller was a bit temperamental and the TV remote also. Those things aside, everything else was 10/10.

“We had a wonderful week at The Penthouse.”

It was extremely clean and praise needs to be given to the cleaner. Welcome Pack and the pint of milk in the fridge was appreciated. The fan was very useful on the hottest of days. The beds are so comfy. Kitchen very well equipped. The views from the huge windows are fabulous no need to put the TV on. Beautifully decorated rooms. Lots of books to read, and videos to watch if required. Folders full of local information and places to visit on the coffee table. The parking space at the back of the apartment is great. Location is just fantastic, we have stayed in Lyme Regis before but The Penthouse is by far the best and we can't wait to return. So much to do in Lyme Regis, you won't be disappointed to visit or to stay in The Penthouse.

“Spotless. Perfect location (no steep hills to climb ever!”

). Great view. Was practical for a family of five (one in a cot). Would highly recommend to any couple or young family going for a short stay in Lyme Regis!

“We love this place, we have been visiting for several years especially during winter.”

It’s very well stocks for making your holiday work for you. My only problem has been this year it was cold, because the have the hive in the hallway it’s not really showing a benefit to the other rooms which has left the bedrooms and living rooms colder than what is showing up in the hallway, I tried turning it up but it looks like it’s preset to a certain level, which would work if it actually heated the other rooms to that number, so we spent a lot of the time feeling cold and waking up in the night cold. But other than this one problem we love the place to bits

Hi. So sorry to hear that you had a problem with the Hive heating. It should be fully adjustable for you to set to how you want it. We did have a guest earlier in the year who tried to adjust the system and I wonder if they have caused an issue with it, or adjusted the radiator valves so that they don't heat up the rooms properly. We will get it looked into. We thought we had made sure it was working properly but maybe we missed something. We are so happy that you love the apartment and hope you come back again - we will make sure that the Hive system is fully working!! Property Owner

“Absolutely love everything about the house.”

There was a slight issue with the flush on the toilet in the en-suite but we used the main bathroom. It may need looking at sometime soon. The location is fantastic, no road noise whatsoever. The kitchen wanted for nothing and the welcome bag was much appreciated. Also, the information folder was so useful for recommendations on walks, restaurants, sites to visit etc. We would stop here again without hesitation.

“Just celebrated our Golden Wedding staying in the Penthouse at lyme Regis.”

What a wonderful wonderful time we had. Infact we are talking about returning next year. Can’t fault it at all. Highly recommend. Need to be fit for the two flight of stairs but the view from the top is amazing especially if you get up early and see the sunrise!! Many thanks

“We stayed for a week in October and we've had a fantastic time!”

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Everything is clean and a good parkingspace is included (very important in lyme regis...). We enjoyed to lean back on the sofa to enjoy the view to the cobb. Watching boats getting out coming in again. We had a really good time and are looking to come back again!

The property

This well-furnished and stylish apartment with excellent sea views is located in Ozone Terrace only a stone's throw from the famous Cobb harbour and beaches. The open plan layout offers light and airy living space all of which takes advantage of the views out to sea from the large windows running the length of the living space. Enjoy mealtimes overlooking the Cobb Harbour or sit comfortably with a glass of something chilled looking out to the sea. With many personal touches throughout, the apartment has been furnished with comfort in mind, sleeping up to 4 guests with a kingsize bedroom, with ensuite cloakroom and twin room, together with a family shower room. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. The main shopping area of Lyme is an easy, fairly level, five minute walk along Marine Parade, where you will find a great selection of independent shops and eateries. For beach lovers, the family friendly beach is a great place to spend the day either on the sandy shores or enjoying some of the water sports on offer. Fishing trips and pleasure boat rides operate from the Cobb harbour and are a great way to see the sights of this stunning stretch of coastline. For a day out, why not head to Charmouth where you can learn about the areas rich fossil history at the Heritage Centre on the seafront or hunting for your own fossil finds on the beaches. For Animal lovers, the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth is open throughout the year or the Axe Valley Wildlife Park is situated in the beautiful countryside in East Devon and is a small and friendly zoo with much to offer visitors.
