A wonderful property with an incredible view of the sea and surrounding cliffs and hills.

The large balcony is perfect for relaxing and taking it all in.

Property lovely and clean. 5 minute walk to the beach. Sat out on the decking in the evening listening to the waves lapping. The decking would be great if it was all enclosed so the dog didn’t have to be tied up but obviously not a necessity for the owners. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is superb, and we were provided with every amenity and all the information needed for a delightful holiday.

A few recommendations to elevate the experience further: • Larger hot‑water tank — The current 10‑gallon capacity is insufficient; we found ourselves grateful for a proper hot shower once home. • Improved mattress support — The bed would benefit from sturdier slats, as the mattress sags noticeably in the centre. • External shutters — Adding shutters would protect the windows during winter storms and, importantly, shield the interior from excessive heat, as the space currently behaves rather like a greenhouse. Overall, a charming stay in a brilliant location.

Lovely stay at Sealark!

Position was perfect with a gorgeous view over the bay. Was perfect for our family of 4 (kids 10 & 12). Kitchen had everything we needed, and we like to cook. Great stay!

Location was amazing, couldn’t have asked for better views along with the sound of the sea.

And nice and peaceful. The cabin is a bit basic, make sure you take everything you need with you! Also the main patio doors which were the best and worst bit weren’t supposed to be used because the latches they have break and have been fixed multiple times due to the wind. They broke whilst I was there so I informed the owner and they weren’t happy at all and told me that’s why they tell you to not use them. Well the other cabins don’t seem to have a problem so I would suggest a little investment perhaps and get stronger doors and latches. It might make you feel better and when people stay there they won’t be chastised for using them, just a thought.

Absolutely loved the location.

With spectacular views of the sea and surrounding areas. We found the cabin was extremely well equipped with everything needed for a long or short stay. There was a very good information pack within the cabin. Our only complaint was that there were planned maintenance power cuts on 2 evenings of our 4 day stay that we were not informed of prior to our holiday which we believe we should have been informed of before we arrived and not on the day we arrived as the planned maintenance was known about for some time prior to our stay.

Lovely chalet in a great position just needs a bit of cleaning and repairs and maintenance.

Could do with a sofa.

The decking area has needed attention for some time looks like the wood hasn’t been treated since it was installed making it a hazard to someone falling from the patio something it is there to protect against.

Nice welcome gift left to welcome us . This is our 3rd christmas at sealark. Lovely walks and beautiful surroundings. You won't be disappointed if you stay here .

Veey clean and comfortable cabin in the most stunning location.

Truly magical and peaceful. A small problem with the sofa though and the owner offered to fix it but it didn’t affect the holiday at all so didn’t bother us ( we used the armchairs and the decking). There is also a minor issue with the shower head as water sprays everywhere- Again this did not impact our stay. It was a wonderful break away. We would highly recommend Sealark and will rebook as it’s a very special place.

What a fabulous place and so well equipped.

The view and the walk down to the beach make this hard to beat. Even though most of the properties were occupied, it is still a really quiet spot and very relaxing. The garden cafe next to the park entrance was an added bonus. We did have one maintenance issue (with the sofa) but the owner responded really quickly.

We had a relaxing and quiet break enjoying the nice weather.

Cottage ideal for soaking up the sun and a relatively easy walk down to sit by the sea. We have booked again to return later in the year.

The property location was beautiful with fantastic views, the narrow lane was a minor inconvenience however the property needs some urgent updates.

The vacuum didn't work, the blinds by the french doors had broken weights at the base and the toilet cistern release valve didn't shut off occasionally so constantly flushing. These are small problems easily fixed and other than that we had a great stay.

Well situated for our visit to Dorset.

The facilities were excellent, you had everything you would need and more, i only marked it down on maintenance as there was some minor damp around the French doors.

We had a visit from the owner/letting agent and i did say the images posted did not do the property justice. The views were fabulous and wildlife was wonderful. Very relaxing stay. We would highly recommend and are looking at going back.

Sealark was very cosy, comfortable, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The position and view is exceptional. I would love it even if I didn't have the great weather that I was lucky. I am hoping to be able to visit again! Tony

Had a super few days here.

Amazing walks along the coast and we did walk into Bridport. Comfy beds, clean home and wonderful views. A lamp in the main living area would have been nice or even fairy lights to make it cosy now that the nights arrive earlier. The overhead lights are a bit stark. There are games etc available and a pub and hotel up the road . we would definitely return for a break away from it all. (Plenty of passing places if you do meet a car coming the other way, so not a problem)

Chalet was in a great idyllic location and it was very clean and comfortable.

It was very well equipped and everything was in good condition.

The property was amazing very well equipped and lovely and clean, being of the elderly generation the seating in the lounge end of the property was not very comfortable to sit on for a long time when the weather was bad.

I loved the kitchen with everything to hand. Missed not finding any egg cups but if we had stayed longer I would have purchased some, but everything else was amazing. The bedrooms were great, bed clean and comfortable, plenty of cupboard space. Bathroom clean and shower was a good size, plenty of towels.

Brilliant property in idylic location.

Owners are decent helpful people. Previous comments regarding problems with the winding, narrow approach road are unfounded.

The property could not have been sited better the views were to die for.

The road to and from the property was a nightmare so much traffic not enough room to pass on one occsssion had to reverse back a half a mile. The was no parasols for the table decking was in bad state and not suitable for having a dog stay. Would not go again and would not recommend it.

The lodge was very comfortable and the sea view was amazing ,everything you could wish for. It had everything you would need if you wanted to cook .

The Chalet is bright, warm and well equipped, although it would have been a tight fit for four of us! The location is wonderful, with sea views and easy access to dog-friendly Eype beach as well as walks along the coast and inland.

Nice little place, the location is great and the views are lovely and as described.

Check in was easy and owner responded quickly to the question we had. Having the beach and costal walks at our doorstep was the selling point. Pub and mini market in walking distance were another plus. Sadly we couldn't use the outdoor seating area to enjoy the views due to the strong winds and rainy weather but that's in no one's control. The place was clean, tidy and bright and the kitchen was very well equipped. Perhaps the layout with kitchen table and seating area could be slightly better but was ok for us as we were only 3 people. Would also be nice to put your legs up after a long day walking, maybe something to think about. Board Games were provided too. Big disappointment were the twin beds, as mattresses were so uncomfortable, very hard and with springs poking through and had definitely seen better days, it was very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Something which could easily be rectified. Mattress on double bed is better and more comfortable, so we gave it to my 80 year old mum who came with us to sleep on. On the plus, linen and towels were clean, fresh and looked new. Late check in on arrival and early check out on the Sunday, plus cleaning before departure made it a bit stressful and less worth for money spend, especially then one only stays for a weekend. Overall however a lovely place, which we would certainly recommend and come back to, if mattress issue is addressed.

Beautiful location.

good place to stay 4 mins to beach every thing you need for a short break

On arrival no beds were made.

No towels provided. Single duvets were Badly stained. Made phone call which resulted in this being corrected Not able to use the central heating as this was locked system and therefore The Lodge was very cold in the evening and morning. Also concluded that the lodge had not been cleaned Very disappointed . Have to say the view was to did for.

We unfortunately had a breakdown en route and arrived during darkness.

The key safe would not unlock so we called several numbers inc emergency no as we had two small children with us. I received a text saying we would be called within 20 minutes…. Three days later I’m still waiting for the call. I eventually gained entry after an hour …. Not really impressed with the service. While the chalet is dog friendly the decking area is not… it’s open at either end so impossible to let the dog freely sit outside although other residents / guests don’t pay much attention to this . Also were unable to open several of the windows inc the kitchen one .
