“The only thing that was a problem was the property needs a higher level of technology knowledge.”

My wife and I have iPads, iPhone, electric cars our son who also came who is very technology person. But the TV won. We didn't want to watch films or games we are on holiday. All I wanted was BBC news or Breakfast news. I watched it on my iPad. But loverly house and location. Just give me a switch. Took an hour to turn on the bathroom radiator. But would give you 9 out of 10 and would come again, so clean and presentable. Thank you. Bob

“Lovely place to stay, garden access from and to back door could be difficult for visitors who are a bit unsteady on their feet due to steep steps but overall a great peaceful place to stay.”

Everything you could require are provided, beautiful decor and comfortable beds. Hot water not very warm but that’s individual taste.

“Great location and the perfect place to stay to explore the Jurassic coast.”

The voyage is really comfortable with useful leaflets about the local area and a great guest book with recommendations. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. Having a smart tv meant our 2 boys were happy to chill in the cottage in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped (the frying pan’s handle has gone loose though so would be great to replace that) We got a lovely welcome bag with local products and some milk in the fridge so we felt instantly at home. We loved our first time in Dorset and would love to return one day!

“We loved our stay and hope to be back again Just a few little things The flooring in kitchen badly needs replacing, it’s quite a trip hazard The sofa could do with more cushions as it’s difficult to reach floor and sit back Cleaning wasn’t brilliant in corners especially in kitchen and bathroom Garden is quite steep and could be difficult for some people especially coming back down the steps near back door BUT We loved being there, beautiful area and grounds, peaceful and tranquil and an ideal location to get to Lyme, West Bay, Bridport and lots of lovely places.”

Everything you need is available in the property and a lovely goody bag with local gifts was left for us. Thank you for a lovely stay, see you again soon.

“A lovely, modern comfortable place which we all enjoyed.”

However, it would have been nice to have bath sheets, rather than bath towels and maybe if you’re asking guests to strip the beds before leaving then it would be a good idea to change the stained mattress protector - this is something that you need to take up with the letting management company. The floor in the kitchen does need attention, guessing this is from a previous water leak. But, all in all a lovely place to stay.

“Lovely cottage, would happily live there.”

Only issues were minor - had to cut back the bushes to get to the front door and the floor is uneven in the kitchen area with the laminate flooring lifting. Neither affected our enjoyment of a super place to stay.

I will not be using Skyes again after many good holidays, due to your new computer system as I prefer the old way ie ring up and talk to person .

“Yes and I would like you kindly to pass on the information to the owners Unfortunately one occasion was unsuccessful in parking near the property This ment struggling some 250yrds plus down a slight uneven hill with a Walking stick due to a failing hip ,luckily this only happened once.”

Parking Could be a lot better if you're spaces are per property. Otherwise it was a Game of chances of getting a parking space. The property was set out in A modern day way but not a lot of thought was fully used in the kitchen For instance the microwave was nice touch but poorly thought out It's position was not safe for handling hot food and dangerous from a Woman's hight average of around 5ft 4inch or less. The storage cupboard Would have been useful but would need small step up to reach it above the Already awarded placement of microwave. Strange that the cooker ventilator Went into the cupboard above but was not connected, luckily we never used The cooker. The drainer tray on sink wasn't big enough. The tv size was a nice toch but a faff to use. A simple thing would a free sat system. Unfortunately for the owners is the laminate flooring has two areas beginning to fail this unfortunate and a bloody faff I know I had burst pipe And had to do my own 5 years ago. The bed were too low for are comfortable need. The settie needs some bigger cousins to give better back Support and general comfort. The bathroom upstairs had a nice p bath set up but toilet and sink set could prove to be a tight set up I personally managed to use the downstairs shower safely and ok for my hip issues One is ironing board no iron it would have been nice to know that. I do feel the overall set up would struggle with people of size 20 and above. Plus points buetifly possessed lovely house but limited for some All best going forward, cheers the Parsons family

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

. It was lovely and quiet, stylishly furnished and contemporary. We felt there were a few negatives. The beds, although very comfortable, are low and not ideal for those of us less sprightly. The blinds on the velux windows were very difficult to pull up or down. We found it easier to leave the blinds closed then battle to open them! The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was very poor. The shower wasn't much more than a trickle. That said, the downstairs shower was very effective. In the back yard, the steps are very steep and no handrail, so are a bit tricky. The hotel pool, although not managed by the owner of the accommodation, is very tired and the water had lots if debris, so was a bit disappointing. Just something to be aware of as the accommodation info highlights the availability of the pool.

The settee had not been moved to clean under it and the freezer was frozen up which did not make any difference to my holiday , The views from the windows where lovely at the front was trees with plenty of wild life the back was just as good.

My mum has had a hip replacement so there was no way we could get into Charmouth but to drive. I think that should be stated on the listing.

“Lovely holiday accommodation with everything you need for a break away from home.”

Recently renovated with lovely fixtures and fixing. Very comfy bed and never slept better. Great location to Lyme Regis and Charmouth beach. Would be happy to return as so much more to see and do.

“There is one word to describe this property and thats perfect.”

Staying was myself, my daughter and my 3yo grandson. The beds were comfy, the amenities were ample, the kitchen is well stocked with cutlery etc and the whole house was decorated beautifully. The location is perfect, right in between Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We will definitely be back again.

The place is beautifully decorated and had pretty much everything we needed during our stay. A little selection of spices in the kitchen would have been great as we didnt think of bringing our own. Still enjoyed cooking our dinners in the lovely kitchen. Can definitely recommend this nice place.

This well presented holiday property, 51 Fernhill Heights, is located between the coastal town of Charmouth and the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the World heritage Jurassic Coast in Dorset. 51 Fernhill Heights accommodates four guests and their dog and offers an open-plan living area, a fully furnished kitchen with an excellent selection of appliances, and an enclosed garden area with outdoor chairs so you can dine alfresco in the warmer months. When you enter the property after unloading in the off-road parking area, you'll find a stylish, clean interior with a living area with plush sofa and seating where you can relax in front of the Smart TV. There is also a large dining area and separate breakfast bar, which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee before going into the nearby town. After a long day, retire to one of the two perfectly kept bedrooms—a king-size or a twin, both with ample storage for your belongings. Guests have the choice of the ground-floor shower room or first floor bathroom, both beautifully finished and tastefully styled. When you head out, the nearby town of Charmouth has a lot to offer. Charmouth is an unspoilt seaside village, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a fantastic beach, world renowned for its fossils on the famous Jurassic Coast. Lyme Regis has breath taking scenery, beautiful gardens and cobb wall around the harbour.
