We had a lovely family get-together in this delightful house.

It is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed for the weekend, plenty of space for 6 adults. Would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely week away and a beautiful area to visit.

In our opinion the house is immaculate, well equipped and of high specification. Just a word of note - the walk into Lyme Regis is without a footpath in places and the road is busy.

This is a really fantastic holiday property.

We have stayed in many over the years, and it is definitely one of the best! We had a week in February, and it was a bright, spacious, well thought out and generously equipped stay. As well as being spotlessly clean, every detail had been thought of and we loved the bright nautical theme. We also liked that some small, quite simple details had been thought about which are often missing in other homes, such as having clean windows, hooks on the backs of doors, a laundry basket (that's a first - somewhere to put wet washing) plenty of empty kitchen cupboards for our food, and good lighting (essential in winter for a family of bookworms). We loved the huge kitchen and lounge, and the views across the fields. We had family staying at number 4, and that worked brilliantly - our own spaces, but near enough for the grandchildren to toddle up the very safe path on their own to come and play. Lyme Regis is our happy place, and it was good to visit all our favourite places - feeding the mullet, seeing the RNLI, the museum and the Town Mill (meals in there are fun and delicious) We had a problem during our stay, and we'd like to mention Mia from Lyme Bay Holidays, who was responsive, courteous and proactive in sorting the issue. Thank you Mia! The only negative comment we have is about the parent company, Sykes. If you have a question or problem, their system is impenetrable and it almost impossible to get in touch, especially if the issue is urgent. Their staff are based overseas in a call centre, and seem helpless if asked the simplest question. The quality of their calls was poor and they were poor communicators. We can't really understand why they run the company, as when we escalated our problem they simply returned us to LBH, who dealt with it very effectively. We've had many holidays via LBH before and they have always been great, and still have the office in Lyme, so we were a bit puzzled by this.

We had a wonderful stay at the house, so much we didn’t want to leave.

It was ideal for us to stay with my parents. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay, and we hope to come back. It is a walk down to the front and would be a killer of a wall back up the hill!

This is a lovely property….

spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would definitely return, the only thing to be aware of is a steep walk back from the town, so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. But highly recommend.

Excellent property and garden in a lovely location A long walk into town and beach - seemed even longer on return uphill climb.

Not for less able - need to be fit!

This property was immaculate but because I didn’t drive it was a long hike from Lyme Regis to Shire Lane plus the buses were not frequent enough you need a car to the property plus it was quite dangerous to walk these country roads But the property was clean and tidy had all the amenities plenty of bedrooms to choose from plus two parking spaces

Comfortable beds and lounge furniture. Perfect house to relax in after our days of sightseeing. We loved the welcome pack, thank you.

The bedroom arrangements are very flexible and great that there are 3 double beds. We have stayed at Chatterton Mews several times and always love coming back. The newly carpeted upstairs is much appreciated. Its a lovely holiday home, any time of the year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at 6 Chatterton Mews while visiting my mum in Lyme Regis for her 80th birthday, and it was perfect.

The house is in such a lovely location—really peaceful. It had everything we needed, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into making it comfortable and welcoming. The communication with the owner was great—clear, friendly, and helpful, which made everything so easy. The whole place was just lovely, and it made our trip feel really special. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and well-located place to stay in the area.

Well equiped clean and spacious house, I would definitely recommend this holiday home ideal for exploring the local area.

The interior was dirty, smelt and looked tired.

The en-suite SHOWER had black mould on the grouting; BATH screen was filthy. Hair on floors. Plastic anti-slip mats were disgusting. BEDS had hairs. KITCHEN, although well equipped, the pans are all past their best and not safe for use. SOFAS smelt and were dirty - could do with a good clean. DVD player did not work. Reported to office. The distance of the CAR PARKING to the Property should be stated on the advertisement. We enjoyed our holiday in Lyme Regis but feel badly let down by Sykes; the cost of the rental did not match the condition of the property. I shall be sharing my concerns with Head Office. A very small detail but an up to date calendar for recycling and rubbish would have been useful.

The one in the folder is for 2023! This being the only criticism shows how happy we were with the property.

Lovely property, very comfortable and everything you could possibly need.

6 Chatterton Mews is an impressive property which made for a great base for 4 adults and an 8 year old child.

Its location, circa 1 mile from the sea front, meant the use of the car was essential to get to the beach / restaurants etc.

Beautiful place, clean, comfortable beds and nice outdoor space.

A bbq would a useful addition

Excellent accommodation, great location and lived up to expectations.

Really lovely house on the outskirts of Lyme Regis with the bonus of off road parking for two cars.

The location is ideal for exploring the coastline and other seaside towns via car. The beds were really comfortable and it has everything you need for a stay away from home. I would highly recommend this house for a family holiday.

What a beautiful property to stay for the week.

Beautifully presented and fully Equipped. Clean and well laid out with thoughtful touches and a lovely welcome bag on arrival. Beautiful decoration inside and lovely enclosed garden. We couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay in. Perfect location. Have stayed in many properties with Sykes over the years and this is by far the best. We would love to return at some point. Thanks for a great stay.

The bathroom shower temperature is controlled by the taps.

It's almost impossible to set a safe temperature. It's either scalding or cold unless the user is VERY precise with the settings. Definitely not suitable for children. A thermostatic valve needs to be installed ASAP. A second key could be provided as we were two families (2 x 2 Adults) and had to co-ordinate our return to the property. The key safe is of course the answer but a second front door key would have been useful. Overall a very lovely property. We have stayed at a lot of similar properties this one is at the top of the list.

The owners left instructions on how to work everything which were easy to follow and very useful. Would highly recommend the property and would definitely return.

Superb property with quality furniture, beds, bedding & very well equipped kitchen.

The garden was looking a little tired but we were more than happy with the patio seating, additional recliners & beach chairs in the outside store. 2 free parking spaces a real bonus in a seaside town. Would definitely recommend. We had hoped to walk into Lyme Regis but discovered the climb back to the house was incredibly steep & a bit too far however there was plenty of parking in the town.

The property was lovely, the kitchen was so well equipped and everywhere was spotless.

A nice garden with furniture to relax in at the end of the day A car is essential for guests with mobility issues. Walking into Lyme Regis was fine but my husband struggled walking back. Most days we parked in the town, but this will add to the cost of the holiday. Lyme Regis is a delightful resort ideal for children.

The house has everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday.

It was clean and welcoming, we liked the addition of a welcome pack of local goodies. The garden area was private and a great place to sit outside. We explored Dorset and Devon from the cottage. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.
