Just paces from a selection of amenities and a sandy beach, this character abode is set over three floors and welcomes families for a splendid break on the Dorset coast.
With its origins stretching back to Saxon times, Sherborne Lane is a mix of quaint and colourful period cottages of individual character and style. A pedestrian only street, the owner provides guests with a parking permit for the Woodmead Halls long stay car park, located close by.
After a day of exploring local attractions, the lounge with its ceiling beams and ornamental original stove, is the perfect place to relax in. The adjoining kitchen, equipped with all the essentials for a week away, overlooks the pretty walled garden at the rear, where you can enjoy a touch of alfresco dining amongst the pretty cottage style planting. Arranged over three floors, stairs lead from the living area to the first floor, offering a double bed and bathroom, whilst the second-floor houses a twin bedroom.
When you’re keen to explore, discover Lyme Regis’ iconic Cobb, a historic harbour wall dating back to the 13th century, is a symbol of Lyme Regis where you can stroll along this ancient structure and be treated to panoramic views of the town and the surrounding coastline. Lyme Regis boasts a collection of inviting beaches, with the sandy main beach a popular choice for sun-seekers and families.
