A very comfortable accommodation, and well equipped, excellent view from property, river side walk to Lyme Regis, used the Axminster bus to return,getting off at the medical centre and walking down the pathway at the side of the Black Dog Tearoom,to the lane to Haye Farm.
Generally a lovely cottage with a great view across the valley.
There was a bit of noise from the accommodation upstairs, but that's what you get when yours is ground floor only. We found the bed to be very soft and therefore not to our liking, but others may disagree. The rooms did feel a bit damp, to the extent that even by hanging our towels on the airer in the lounge all day, they were not dry the next morning. The shower is great, a good size, with a powerful flow. The kitchen was well equipped, but some of the cupboard doors could do with adjustment. Having said all that, we had a great holiday, even if the access lane is too narrow for my liking.
The holiday cottage is in a lovely setting with the short walk along the river into the town a bonus.
It was quiet and clean with everything you could need for a wonderful stay . Perhaps a few board games/cards could be left in the cupboard? We will definitely be booking again
