The Old Dairy is a delightful bungalow located in the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, close to the Dorset Coast. The cottage has charm and character in abundance, with the living area having a vaulted ceiling exposing the traditional beams and enjoying views over the garden to the countryside beyond. Cosy and inviting, the lounge is the perfect spot to sit back and relax with the stylish wood burner a real feature of this room and a welcomed addition during the colder months. The farmhouse style kitchen and dining area adjoin the lounge and makes this a sociable space for the family to gather together. All on one level, the three bedrooms offer the same charm, with a spacious king-size room, a double and a single bedroom all enjoying views over the wrap around garden and fields beyond. Set amidst rolling fields, the garden is a real delight with a large patio seating area offering the ideal spot to sit and enjoy this most tranquil of settings. The spacious paddock has a small orchard area adjoining the patio with a further area of lawn at the rear of the cottage. The village of Whitchurch Canonicorum is a pretty village with a mix of traditional thatched cottages and farm buildings with a church at its heart and a friendly pub, The Five Bells, serving food and local beverages at the other end of the village. The coastal location of Charmouth is located 3 miles away and is popular with beach goers and fossil hunters alike and home to the acclaimed Charmouth Coast Heritage Centre. The market town of Bridport offers visitors a great choice of fascinating attractions, many of which celebrate the heritage and art influences in the town. In the heart of the town, Bucky Doo Square is home to the bustling Saturday market with stalls and producers visiting from around the local area to sell unique gifts, as well as delicious food and drink. Nearby West Bay is a charming fishing village and harbour situated on one of the most dramatic stretches of the Jurassic Coast.
