This is our first stay since management has been transferred to Lyme Bay Cottages and we were disappointed. We arrived late due to heavy traffic and noticed that there was no welcome pack (not even a little milk) as there always had been previously. There was only one teatowel for a two week stay and no food waste bags for the caddy. The cottage had not been cleaned, there were cobwebs and dust that you draw outlines in with your finger tips. The shower was leaking so badly that only a small amount of water actually came out of the shower head, the rest streaming down the shower pipe. I brought these matters to the attention of the old manager, who I know personally and she alerted the owner, we also contacted Lyme Bay Cottages. The cottage was cleaned the following day and a new shower installed. We stayed for two weeks and under the previous management, there was a mid-stay clean and a change of bedding and towels. This did not happen under Lyme Bay Cottages. We will stay again but have to say that 'little touches do make a difference' and this stay did not impress as previous stays had done.
