Step through the striking glass entrance and you’ll immediately notice the attention to detail and warmth that define this home. On the ground floor, two inviting bedrooms await, one a cushy twin, the other a comfortable double with its own en-suite shower room, thoughtfully equipped with grab rails and a shower seat for added accessibility.
Three steps lead down into the heart of the home: a spacious open plan living area where rustic elegance meets contemporary design. A woodburner sits in the corner, perfect for cooler evenings, while unique touches like olive bucket lightshades and plush furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the rolling hills beyond, making this a space to gather, relax and reconnect.
Upstairs, two further bedrooms offer peaceful sanctuaries. One features a zip/link super-king-size bed, ideal for couples or friends, while the other boasts a stunning sleigh-style king-size bed. A luxurious bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower completes the upper floor, perfect for long indulgent soaks after a day of exploring.
Step outside and the experience continues. A large terraced patio offers multiple seating areas, an outdoor bar area and barbecue for summer feasts, and a private hot tub for up to eight guests, ideal for stargazing with a glass of bubbly in hand. A lawned area invites games and picnics, and beyond that, a half-acre field is yours to roam freely, whether you're chasing sunsets or simply enjoying the fresh country air.
Just a short stroll down the lane brings you to The Candlelight Inn, a much-loved local pub known for its warm welcome, excellent food and cosy atmosphere. Whether you're popping in for a pint or settling in for a hearty meal, it’s a must-visit during your stay. Head north and you’ll find the county town of Taunton with its shops, restaurants and entertainment, and within an hour’s drive, you can explore The Jurassic Coast with its pretty seaside towns and villages and stunning coastal scenery.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the borders of Somerset and Devon, the tiny village of Bishopswood offers an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area. Explore the lovely countryside surrounding the village with its pretty meadows and wealth of wildlife, or take some time to walk amongst the nearby Blackdown Hills, a sight not to be missed! Discover the old local tradition of cider making at Perry's Cider Mills working museum, or enjoy some of the many National Trust properties dotted throughout the area, including Montecute House and Barrington Court. Garden lovers will enjoy East Lambrook Manor, Hestercombe House and Forde Abbey gardens, whilst a steam train journey along the West Somerset Railway provides a fun day out for all! Alternatively visit the home of the famous poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge or follow in the footsteps of Lorna Doone on dramatic Exmoor. A great holiday base offering a holiday to remember!
