This stunning, beautifully presented apartment is set on the first floor of this fine Grade II listed Georgian building and commands superb views over the town of Lyme Regis to the sea and coastline beyond.

The building itself has an intriguing history, run as a small hotel during the early part of the last Century and then during the 2nd World War, it became the Headquarters for Capt. Victor Briggs and "C" Company who led the assault landings at Omaha Beach on D-Day. Lovingly restored by the current owners who have exposed and stained the original oak floorboards, fitted new sash windows and tastefully furnished the property to compliment it's period feel. The main living room, with a quality fitted kitchen area at one end, has a clean, contemporary look, which will no doubt appeal to couples and small families alike.

A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. A 5-8 minute walk down Silver Street will take you to the beach and town centre where you can spend time exploring Lyme Regis' unique collection of privately owned shops, restaurants, pubs, galleries and local attractions. With the real bonus of off road parking for one car to the rear of the building, 2 Woodville provides the ideal base for anyone wanting a relaxing break in this picturesque, unspoilt Dorset town.
