Lynch Cottage is a unique and beautiful former Gamekeepers cottage set into the hillside with stunning views over a quiet woodland valley all the way to the sea.

Built in 1850 on the private Pinhay Estate the property, nestled in a wonderfully secluded position amidst its own large grounds, provides flexible accommodation for up to 6 guests. The area is a haven for wildlife and the surrounding area is ideal for walkers with an abundance of footpaths including the famous Jurassic Coastal path nearby (it may at times be possible to access a small beach, weather and conditions permitting).

A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats.

Lovingly converted and restored to retain all of its unique character and charm the property also benefits from all the modern conveniences you will require including woodburners in the lounge and dining rooms. Just a 5 minute drive from Lyme Regis this is an ideal retreat for those looking for a peaceful, quiet hideaway within easy reach of the coast.


Please note: A maximum of three dogs are accepted. Dogs are charged at £20 each per week (or part week).

If you really want to escape the treadmill and wind down in complete peace, few locations are as perfect as Rousdon. At 500 feet above sea-level the walks and views are breath-taking, and the village bakery & coffee house and the famous Dower House Hotel are open for meals, drinks and light refreshments. Or you could venture the two miles to Lyme Regis and sample some of the many restaurant options, such as seafood at Hix Fish & Oyster House. Nearby Axminster, home to the famous River Cottage HQ, is also worth a visit.
