    “While we found the property as advertised we do have one or two issues .”

    We couldn't get hold of any one to help out with a couple of things which was VERY frustrating . The other thing was the toilet seat in the ensuite was disguising .It wouldn't take much to replace it .It obviously can't be cleaned !! Also , it would be a good idea to supply a folding stool in the kitchen as all the pans were VERY high and couldn't be reached , my husband being taller than me had to take the pans down . The area was so pleasant with many places to eat etc .

WEST BAY

Bridport 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 11 miles.

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive West takes you to Charmouth for fossil hunting, to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and to River Cottage HQ near Axminster.
