West Ridge stands in more than 1.5 acres of its own lawns and gardens just a mile or so from the sea at Seaton, set in the midst of the spectacular rural and coastal scenery of East Devon.

From its elevated situation it commands beautiful and extensive views of the Axe Valley and Estuary and the sea itself.
Attached to the owner's main residence, the accommodation comprises a main bedroom (with a king-size bed, which can, if preferred, be separated into two single beds); a lounge and a large kitchen/living-room and there is also a shower room with separate toilet.

There is a large garden with a paddock/orchard to the rear. This part of the garden looks to the North over lovely rolling Devon countryside - a particularly attractive and peaceful area. There is an ample supply of garden furniture and level access from the driveway to the entrance of the bungalow.

A variety of shops, pubs and restaurants in this small Devon town are within a few minutes drive. Explore the stunning Axe Estuary and Wetlands, abundant with bird and wildlife, or why not visit the unique Seaton Tramway and Jurassic Coast Centre. The beach is perfect for watersports with sailing, windsurfing and paddleboarding permanent features in the bay. The picturesque fishing village of Beer, just a five minutes drive, is host to the famous Pecorama and Quarry Caves and self-drive motor boats can be hired from the beach. With the seaside resorts of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth within 15 minutes by car this property is a great base for discovering this recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

About Devon (Seaton)

Tucked away in a corner of East Devon, is the beautiful, unspoilt Axe Valley. At the mouth of the River Axe is the friendly, coastal resort of Seaton. The mile-long beach at Seaton is excellent for water sports, from sailing and swimming, to diving and windsurfing.
With the new and fantastic Seaton Jurassic centre now open, Seaton's location on the Jurassic coast make it well worth a visit. The town has a good selection of small, independent shops, as well as a couple of well-known supermarkets. There's a good choice of eateries, including The Shed Steakhouse, Flipside and The Malthouse, as well as two very good fish and chip shops and Chinese and Indian restaurants.
Seaton's unique tramway runs inland, along the Axe Estuary, to the medieval market town of Colyton and is perfect for birdwatchers, transport enthusiasts or those who simply want to watch the beautiful riverside scenery glide by. Next to the tramway is the new Seaton Marshes Nature Reserve. The installation of a viewing hide and wheelchair-friendly paths means this beautiful area and its wildlife - wildfowl and wading birds in winter; dragonflies and butterflies in summer - are now easily accessible all year round.
