    “A fabulous cottage!”

    On arrival we found the best welcome pack we have ever recieved. Everything we could need was there, a very well equiped kitchen and excellent coffee/tea making facilities. We visited the local pubs in the village (all in easy walking distance) we throughly enjoyed the friendly welcome amd food/drinks on offer. We wil certainly return!

This 4 star Gold property is a delightful 16th century cottage is superbly situated in one of the most sought after locations in the heart of the Devon village of Beer. Whilst retaining all of its character and charm, the property has been refurbished to a high standard providing very comfortable holiday accommodation. Tucked away behind the village main street, the cottage is just a few steps from the shops, pubs and restaurants and just a two minute walk to the beach. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. The property enjoys the benefit of its own pretty garden and the additional bonus of its own parking space making this an ideal property for couples or families at any time of the year. Please note: A maximum of two dogs are accepted downstairs only and not to be left unattended during your stay. Seaton 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 9 miles; Sidmouth 9.5 miles; Exeter 25 miles.

Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer. Beer is a unique Devon fishing village and a great place to stay.
