    “The house is in a lovely location and a great spot for hiking locally.”

    Clean, comfortable - the lounge area is not big enough for 6 people, however for two of us was fine. With it being out of season, a lot of the local restaurants were closed, but due to it being so quiet I guess.

The property

A superbly presented cottage, wonderfully situated alongside the River Lym yet within an easy 5 minute walk of the seafront and the various restaurants and shops in Lyme Regis. Renovated to a high standard, the owners have married a mix of traditional features with a contemporary finish and beautiful personal touches. A real feature of the property is the large sunny kitchen / dining room with doors leading out to a garden which takes full advantage of the peaceful location. The large lawn is perfect for children to play while you sit back and relax, maybe with a chilled glass of wine, listening to the river flowing nearby. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. This really is a wonderful holiday home-from-home and the perfect place to enjoy all that this unspoilt seaside resort has to offer. Please note: A maximum of one dog is accepted. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
