It is very quiet here. The bed is very comfortable and on the level of a top quality bed. The owner was very accommodation and friendly and could not do more for you. The parking is along the road by the owners house and signed for Megs Roost. You can unload and load by the property but bear in mind that you are blocking access for other properties further into the hamlet. Luckily, The main issue is the access road, that is used to approach the property, which is a typical Devon lane, narrow, winding and used by drivers who tend to not take much care because they are used to driving up and down it daily. Having said that, it is part of the charm of the area and to be expected off a main road in Devon. We found the easiest way was to turn into the lanes at the Local Recycling Centre signs as that road tends to be 2 car passing capable, for far longer that other ways. So do not take the large 4x4, take the small car and you will be fine.
