    “We stayed at 17 Mill Green ahead of my father’s funeral, and its location next door to my parents’ home made a difficult few days much easier logistically.”

    The property is modern, well laid out and comfortable. It was clean and well presented on arrival, easy to access, warm during the day and having the dedicated parking space was a real bonus in Lyme Regis. Communication and check-in were straightforward and efficient. The kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome bag of goodies much appreciated. A small suggestion would be to provide a few extra blankets in the winter months, as it felt a little cooler in the bedrooms at night for some ...

We also found it slightly unusual that there wasn’t a recycling option available. Overall, it provided a comfortable and well-located place to stay when it really mattered to us.

A beautiful Grade II listed cottage enjoying a quiet position in the heart of the much sought after old town area of Lyme Regis. The nearby river walk provides a level and picturesque walk alongside the River Lym and past the historic town mill to the shops, restaurants and seafront. The property has been fully refurbished to a very high standard combining original features with a smart contemporary finish and exceptional attention to detail. To the rear of the house there is a level, fully enclosed, garden with picnic table which enjoys a sunny southerly aspect providing a perfect place for children to play while you sit back and relax, maybe with a chilled glass of wine. At the rear of the garden there is a fence screen and gate providing access to the parking space behind. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. With the benefit of off-road parking this really is a wonderful holiday home -from-home and the ideal place to enjoy all that this unspoiled seaside resort has to offer. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
