“Great find and fabulous views over the Cobb at Lyme Regis .”

We have booked again for August Great bonus having binoculars in the apartment. Steps down to the beach front, comfy bed and powerful shower. We had lovely weather plus town only a couple of minutes walk away and fossil hunting a couple of minutes on the beach. Bonus having a parking space

“First impressions of the property are good.”

Decor is clean and bright and the furnishings suit it nicely. The flat is a good size for a one bedroom with properly defined living and kitchen dining rooms. The balcony is a good size with excellent views across Lyme bay and the harbour. Our only negatives related to the boiler needing daily resetting and difficulty locking the property (reported). Access was via two metal exterior staircases which could make it difficult for some. Overall though, we will certainly look to return here. The combination of views whilst being close to the harbour is very desirable.

Loads of hanging space in the bedroom. Well equipped throughout. Spiral stairs were not a problem for us, but care needs to be taken. Would return and probably will.

“The apartment was very clean and well equipped.”

I don't honestly think that you could add anything else, other than instructions on how to get the patio door in the living room to open a this is a work of art. The position of the property is excellent and the views are first class. If I was going to be picky then I'd say the balcony didn't look as though it had been swept but no big problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back to this property, possibly out of season as it was very busy as you would expect with school holidays. Personally I would rate the property on the whole as 10 out of 10.

“On arrival we where disappoint with the condition of the approach to the front door.”

The slabs was generally untidy and the and the whole area was unwelcoming. The door was not in keeping with what we expected needed it a nudge at the bottom to open correctly. On entering the property it was first impressions said that it was as stated in the advert. "Great" Every thing you could wish for and much more. Snagging list that would have made the stay even better :- All windows needed cleaning inside and out especially the one's in the lounge and bedroom. Cob webs in every room. Shower in bath needs urgent attention. The glass shower door seal does not fit to the bath leaving a 5/6mm gap allowing water to flow under the seal and creating puddles of water on the bathroom floor. Spent more time cleaning floor than actually having a shower. Had all of these issues been addressed before arrival the scores / marks would have been higher.

“Lovely apartment in a very good location.”

Parking space a real bonus outside. The kitchen was well fitted with all you need and was clean and modern. Bed was comfy and great to have a bath as well as a shower. The seating area on the decking was lovely ( added binoculars to view out sea was a nice touch) the decking could do with a bit of a wipe down and the spiral stairs to enter the property could be better designed a bit challenging with suitcases. Lovely Garden path to the beach. We would definitely recommended this property if you can navigate the spiral stairs upon entry.

“This is not a complaint.”

But. A thermostatic shower mixer valve would be a real benefit to the more senior visitors ( we fall into that bracket) Loved our stay. We will be back.

“Brilliant views of the Cobb, the harbour, and the coast from Charmouth to Golden Cap and Portland.”

The flat is compact and comfortable. A lovely balcony on which to eat meals or enjoy a drink. The metal stairs outside were no problem, though we did hang on to the rail very carefully. The current shower over the bath is poor, and needs a thermostatic shower. Also, I felt very insecure stepping in and out of the bath. Ideally, remove the bath, install a shower cubicle, and the flat would be perfect.

“Absolutely wonderful holiday at this beautiful flat.”

My husband and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary here. Working with Sykes, and with the local company, was easy; everything was clear and professional. This flat is in a wonderful location, with glorious 180° views from the balcony. We could hear the sound of the waves when a patio doors were open. Perfectly clean, stocked with all the supplies we could need. Basic cleaning supplies were included as well! There was even a French press for coffee! An easy 10 minute walk down to the beach along a private terraced stone pathway that ended with a couple of flights of stairs. We hope to return again someday.
