“Positives: location, view from decking, comfy beds, parking space
Negatives: Areas of apartment need attention.”
Tired and grubby looking, the bathroom in particular. Lumps of black mould on shower screen, shower head needs thorough clean/replacement. Underside of toilet seat grim and the thing needs replacing. Rusty towel rail. Some hand towels would have been appreciated

As previously mentioned by other guests, there is bare minimum provision re plates, dishes, glassware for four people No dishcloth or pan scrub provided. Please ditch the “welcome pack” and concentrate on the necessities. One toilet roll left for four guests. No bags provided for bed linen and towels. No info re rubbish and recycling. Guest info folder out of date: Mark Hix restaurant closed nine months ago, and there is no Tourist information office in Lyme Regis. We didn’t use the outside area so can’t comment on furniture for there, but it didn’t look to be of great quality or suitable for four people.
One last thing to mention is that during our week’s stay there was a persistent noise which appeared to be coming from above the bedrooms, maybe something loose on the roof. This was loud enough to disturb sleep despite the use of ear plugs, and was very disruptive and not conducive to sleep. This really needs to be checked out.
We loved Lyme Regis but would not return to this apartment unless these issues were addressed.
