    Thank you. Property was as expected which was reassuring as not always the case. The one issue we had was parking. They is no allocated parking with the property which was made clear. We had hoped to utilise the private car at the rear of the property, but were told they had no availability. This led us to have to utilise the public car parking nearby which was about £24 for 24hrs. This adds up during a stay and this was without an overnight fee. Clearly catering for the day trippers! We thought we would make others aware recognising it is clearly outside the control of the property owners. (Unless they petition the council for a residents discount of course!). Parking was the minor point compared with position and experience that this property offers. Thank you.

    Dear Neil, thank you so much for your wonderful review of our flat, we're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We totally understand your perspective regarding the public car parking near Monmouth Beach and have noticed that the cost does seem to have increased each year since the pandemic. Like many holiday let owners, local business, residents and visitors, we are concerned about this but see the increases applied each year (sadly this does seem to be the case in many popular seaside resorts along the South Coast). We do continue to recommend using the small private car park behind Ozone Terrace, but appreciate that a space wasn't available during your recent stay. The owners of the carpark are usually happy to accept advance bookings but, as this is understandably a popular car parking option, it does get booked up quickly during peak times. We do hope that the council's public parking costs didn't put you off returning to Lyme Regis and hope to welcome you back in the future. With our very best wishes, Bill and Celia Property Owner

The property

This delightful top floor apartment with excellent sea views is located in Ozone Terrace, one of the most sought after locations in Lyme Regis and situated only a stone's throw from the historic harbour, Cobb and the town's beaches. The bright and airy living space and master bedroom benefit from panoramic sea views and to the front of the property there is a south facing, walled communal garden with outdoor seating and a view of the sea. Family friendly cafe's, restaurants and pubs are close by as well as a selection of interesting shops including a popular wet fish shop. The charming town centre with its independent shops and restaurants is an easy, fairly level, 5 to 10 minute walk along the seafront and public car parking is available a short walk away. The owners have given great thought to guest comfort with plenty of additional homely touches. The galley kitchen is well equipped and a welcome pack of mainly locally sourced items including tea, coffee and milk is provided for your arrival. Perfect for a family beach holiday, as a base for exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside and the Jurassic Coast, or for a relaxing break at any time of the year. SECOND FLOOR APARTMENT (internal stairs for access) Please note that the stairs are quite narrow and steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
