The property is spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were especially comfortable. The location is great for walking into Lyme (if you don't mind the odd hill), and for exploring the surrounding area. The property is spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were especially comfortable. The location is great for walking into Lyme (if you don't mind the odd hill), and for exploring the surrounding area. We were very pleased by the speed with which you sorted the issue with the bed set up. However, we felt the property was overpriced given the overall quality. Issues included; sink plug not working in the main bathroom and the toilet seat was loose (we tightened it), lack of clothes pegs (we bought some) or laundry basket, the mirror light in the ensuite didn't work, there were no poles to open the skylights, there were no instructions for some of the appliances (primarily the oven), tired selection of pans (some with no lids). Generally, the instructions and property info was out of date, for example, the refuse collection. Also, although you can't do anything about this, guests should be aware that there is a lot of traffic noise from the road running alongside the property, which meant we didn't use the garden as much as we would have liked. Finally, we were disappointed there no form of welcome pack, not even a pint of milk. We still had a good week, but would not rent this property again.
