“The flat was a great base for our holiday, just what we needed.”

Clean, spacious for two of us. Nice view of the sea and easy to get into Lyme Regis. I can't comment on the welcome pack, as promised, as we weren't left one but I'm sure that was just an oversight and there are 39 steps up to the flat which might be off putting for anyone less able. We had a lovely holiday.

“The apartment is in a very central location with easy access to everything Lyme Regis has to offer.”

The welcome pack was a lovely treat and generally everything in the apartment was well appointed. The only tiny criticisms we had were the lack of a tea towel in the kitchen, and one of the beds in the twin room had a very uncomfortable mattress which made for a rather unpleasant first night (I swapped to the other bed for the rest of the stay). The instructions for everything were very comprehensive from how to collect the keys and find the property to how to use all the amenities in the flat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a great base for a break in Lyme Regis.

“This property is in a prime position and so is absolutely perfect for a 2 min walk to the beach, town with plenty of fantastic shops from all the brands Fat face, Salt rock etc but also some beautiful shops down combe street, pubs.”

.. The Pilot Boat inn served some really good food and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Because of the position we didnt need to use our car at all which was good and although you are right next to a busy road and it was noisy at times, this was mainly during the day whilst we were out and about anyway. It wasn't noisy at night so wasn't too much of a problem and to have been in that prime location you would have to expect it to have been bustling with life which it was. You could see the sea which was nice. The seagulls were entertaining!! The property was clean and well equipped although we could have done with some oven gloves and a much larger bin... minor problems!! We came during Lymes carnival week and so i suspect it was slightly busier than usual although i know lyme is usually thriving and vibrant. We would love to come back again and would recommend this property to people who like to do stuff!! Thankyou.

“Clean and well stocked with everything we could need.”

Great location for the coast and town. Being on the main road however, the traffic noise and 6.30am bin lorry was a slight negative. The beds were generally very comfy, apart from the bunk beds, which could do with a new mattress. Would definitely book again if in the area

“A pleasant stay for four adults and two children.”

The flat was comfortable and clean (apart from needing a dust around the TV, CD player and stand), and thoughtfully equipped. It is quite impossible to find a car parking space in any of the Lyme car parks on a sunny day in August, so the garage space beneath the flats was very welcome. Our only problem was that there was no hot water to wash up with, in spite of everything looking as it should according to the handbook supplied. I contacted LBH and asked for someone to phone us when the maintenance person was on their way so that we could be at the flat, but nothing happened until the second day when someone had come to the flat without our knowledge to fix it. I was annoyed about this breach of our privacy and security, and as yet, no-one has contacted me from LBH about it. Just a further note: although the kitchen area is small, a larger rubbish bin is necessary for six people. I would recommend this holiday flat, but bear in mind it's a good ten minute walk to the sandy beach and if you have a lot of beach gear a beach trolley is essential. Also, be aware that the pavement outside the block is narrow, so be very careful with young children.

Short walk to the beach and all the local shops which is perfect when you have children. Cute little apartment and was the best equipped place we have stayed at. We’ve stayed at 5 other locations in Lyme and by far this was the best. Thank you so much for the amazing stay.

“The location was great.”

The parking was really tight though and if you had a bigger car I imagine it would be a struggle. The curtains are also very thin especially with lighter mornings. But it was clean and had what we need just for a short break. With just one bathroom/toilet and only seating for 4 at the dining table I would imagine it’s a squeeze for 6 people. But it served us well and we would stay again if we came back to Lyme Regis. The welcome pack was lovely too. Thank you

“The property needs a bathroom and kitchen upgrade.”

Shower unit was grubby, needs replacing. For 6 people there should be a 2nd bathroom. Toilet needs attention on the flush. Kitchen needs a dishwasher rather than a waste disposal unit. Balcony needs upgrading with paintwork and new furniture. Bed linen is very old and grey. The duvets/pillows are past their best and need re-newing. The decor throughout the whole flat is tired and needs a total upgrade. Sofas comfy, plenty of utensils. Overall the flat is OK. But for the price paid we expected better quality. Everything needs a serious refresh.

The apartment has a 3 tick rating for quality and amenities and we feel this reflects the overall quality and presentation accurately. We know some people look for a higher bedroom to bathroom ratio, however this apartment is advertised with 1 bathroom. The owners regularly stay in the apartment and update and upgrade areas on a regular basis to ensure the apartment is comfortable and presented as per the marketing.
