Morpeth is a charming, traditional white‑washed cottage, ideally positioned in the heart of the much‑loved Somerset village of Combe St Nicholas, with pleasant views across the church, village green and surrounding hills . Inside, the cottage is comfortably furnished and centrally heated throughout, creating a welcoming base for a relaxing stay. The kitchen‑diner is a comfortable, sociable space, equipped with everything needed for a self‑catering stay, along with a good supply of crockery, cutlery and utensils. On the first floor, the double bedroom overlooks the village church, while a twin room enjoys views across the village green. Also on this floor is a well‑appointed family bathroom, fitted with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The second floor provides a further spacious twin bedroom, with lovely outlooks over the village to the hills beyond. All three bedrooms are attractively presented and well equipped, with bed linen and towels provided. Outside, there is parking for two cars at the front of the cottage, and one well‑behaved dog is welcome. Combe St Nicholas has a strong village atmosphere, with the popular Green Dragon pub, a well‑stocked village shop and the church located directly opposite the cottage. The nearby market town of Chard lies just two miles away, where you’ll also find the excellent Barley Mow Farm Shop. For days out, Forde Abbey and its beautiful gardens make a wonderful visit, while the Jurassic Coast can be reached in around half an hour, including the seaside town of Lyme Regis and the renowned fossil‑hunting beaches at Charmouth. Morpeth is a characterful village cottage in a superb central location, ideal for exploring Somerset, Dorset and the stunning coastline beyond. The picture-perfect town of Chard rests just outside of the village, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as a museum, a leisure centre, and a handful of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the rolling landscape of the Blackdown Hills AONB is sure to appeal to the outdoor adventurers thanks to the abundance of walks and trails woven throughout.
