A good space with a great little kitchen allowing simple cooking. We ended up using the sofa bed as the bed on the mezzanine was a little to hard for us. The location is ideal, providing a short walk to town and easy access out of town by car for further afield trips. The view and overall ambience of the property is delightful.

We did get a little confused with some of the communication and instructions from the host. First of all in the listing it states to ask if you need both beds making up, as we didn't we didn't ask but this means when you arrive no beds are made up. Secondly the parking states park in the bay on the left. When we arrived the bay to the immediate left had a car in it and a sign on the bay states the parking is for the Both. We ended up parking by the garage door as the only space available. Both these things together made us worried we weren't expected by the host and they then didn't answer their phone when we called them! The following day when we returned from a trip we parked in the same place only to be visited by the host asking us to move and park in the left bay marked as both parking. All this wouldn't have been and issue but when the instructions say one thing and no update is given in the form of perhaps a note in the property it is frustrating. The last quibble we have is something pointed out by a previous visitor is there is functionally no WIFI at the property. The router indicated by the owners either isn't findable or only has one bar and no consistent signal both my partner and I tried to join it but we're never able to use the internet. As the property is advertised as having WIFI and the signal in the area is not brilliant this was another frustration.

We do ask guests that if they wish to use the sofa bed to make us aware prior to booking so we can ensure that there is linen ready for you. We have it confirmed that parking is outside the garage and we have amended the travel details to avoid any further confusion. We can confirm that there is WiFi in the property, which does work but occasionally from time to time the service will drop due to where Lyme is located.
