“Wi-Fi was very patchy, we could hardly use the internet, which made planning days out frustrating.”
Outdoors pool too cold to swim in - is it covered at night?
Wasps everywhere, so we had to keep the doors and windows closed and couldn’t eat outside on our patio.
Extractor fan and light above stove was broken / didn’t work.
The big plates don’t fit in the dishwasher / the arm inside can’t turn when they are in there so we washed them by hand.
Not really enough crockery and cutlery provided, the dishwasher was only half full before we ran out.
Nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom not even a wash bag.
Quite a bit of dust on windowsills, skirting boards and cobwebs in the corners of the property.
Re the above issues, we paid quite a bit for the week: £1600 so a bit disappointing and would probably stop us from rebooking.
Thank you for your feedback, we’re sorry you had some issues. We will be dealing with the matters you have raised and taking up the WiFi problem with the site owner. A WiFi booster will be installed shortly.
The lodge is thoroughly cleaned by Lyme Bay Holidays after each visit.
Although the outdoor pool is now closed for the winter, the indoor pool is always maintained at a good temperature.
Smaller dinner plates will be provided together with additional cutlery.
