The house has been well decorated and we loved the Christmas touches it was very thoughtful. Just a very small note:The windows don’t keep out the noise of the road and the happy morning gulls from the wee hours, and the main bedroom mattress we very hard, so this would be my only bit of feedback but entirely personal preference . We really did have the best time .

“We had a fantastic 5 nights in the property, Queens Road was everything we'd hoped it would be.”

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could imagine, even a lemon juicer which we needed for a dish we were making. The beds were 10 out of 10 and we are fussy so very happy. The attention to detail in the house was lovely, plenty of towels and lots of games, a great book on walks in the area which we used. The showers are amazing !!! fantastic water pressure !!! Such a comfortable house to stay in, great that it had parking outside. We would definitely recommend this property. We couldn't fault it in anyway. Thank you so much

“This is a beautifully refurbished period property with a modern touch.”

Its extremely well decorated and comfortable and very warm! The kitchen is superb and the WiFi signal very good. Beds also very comfortable Parking for one car in the town is very convenient. My only negative comment would be that we were emailed about the parking permit for a second car whilst travelling down to the house on a Saturday. By the time we arrived the offices were not available for the required phone call so we had to pay for parking.

“The house is in a great location, is spacious and quite well-equipped.”

Off-road parking was tight even with our tiny car due to the bin store being placed on the wrong side of the driveway (would be better on the pedestrian entrance side). We were surprised there were no toiletries (shower gel etc) provided as is usual, and the slippery, cold wooden floor downstairs could be greatly improved with a rug in the lounge. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at this property which was warm, welcoming and beautifully accessorised.

The house is large, extremely comfortable and very well equipped with every appliance you could need and everything is easy to use if, like us, you are not so great with technology. “There were a couple of negatives; we couldn't open the back door as the doorknob was broken, the chairs and table out the front were covered in bird poop.”

A second set of keys would be useful. Having said that, the decor was lovely and the house was very comfortable and really well furnished, the picnic table, chairs and trolley were good additions. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall it was a good place to stay and the location was great.

Beautifully furnished and a kitchen with plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. A little more cupboard space to store food would have been appreciated. The position of the property is excellent for local travel. The one thing that is needed is a shaving mirror for the ensuite to the master bedroom. Our short stay was booked very much at the last minute. We're so glad that this property was available, we greatly enjoyed our time at 55 Queens Road.

“Fantastic property in immaculate order, in terms of decor, finish and cleanliness.”

Every room is large and very comfortable. Great to have an off road parking space, given it is in the town centre (the road outside is one way with not that much traffic - my companion who lives on a country lane wasn't at all bothered by it). Particularly good restaurants in Seaton are Le Pisani and Ragini (4-8 min walk). Loads of day-time cafes.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found everything beautifully clean and well-maintained.”

We loved the little touches - the welcome pack in the kitchen for example -delicious goodies inside and devoured instantly! The beds were superb, comfortable to sleep in with plenty of pillows and clean bedding throughout. We loved the location too - able to walk through the high street and straight onto the beach. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property for a family to stay in and would consider booking again if we want to stay in Seaton.

The property was a wonderful place to relax and take in a part of Devon we had never visited before. The property itself was first class. A lot of thought had gone into what had been created. Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
