Salt & Stone is a detached coastal chalet situated on the ever-popular Bowling Green in Lyme Regis, enjoying a well-placed position with views to the front and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces designed for relaxed seaside living. Just moments from Monmouth Beach and within easy reach of the sandy, family friendly beach, it’s perfectly placed to enjoy all that this vibrant seaside town has to offer.
Inside, the property has been carefully styled to create a calm and contemporary coastal retreat. The open-plan living space is bright and welcoming, with a vaulted ceiling enhancing the sense of space, complemented by a soft sea-blue palette, seaside-inspired artwork and thoughtfully chosen finishing touches. The sitting area is comfortably arranged with a sofa and TV, creating an easy space to unwind.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, fridge and sink, while the adjoining dining area offers a sociable place to gather. A fabulous, fitted window seat within the dining area is perfect for relaxed breakfasts or a quiet moment with a book.
The chalet offers two beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms. The first is a generous king-size bedroom with doors opening directly onto the rear decked terraces, creating a lovely sense of connection to the outdoor space. The en-suite shower room features a sleek glass panel wall, walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. The second bedroom is a bunk room with adult-sized bunk beds and its own en-suite shower room, providing flexible accommodation for both families and friends.
Outside, the chalet offers a choice of inviting seating areas. A small decked terrace to the front is ideal for soaking up the outlook, while to the rear, two covered decked terraces provide sheltered spaces for outdoor dining or unwinding after a day by the sea.
Salt & Stone welcomes one well-behaved dog, and with direct access to Monmouth Beach, The Cobb and the South West Coast Path, it’s an excellent base for exploring this iconic stretch of the Jurassic Coast. The coastline is world-renowned for its fossil-rich cliffs, dramatic scenery and superb walking routes, with opportunities to explore towards Charmouth or follow the shoreline back into town.
Lyme Regis itself is centred around its historic harbour, The Cobb, where visitors can enjoy regular boat trips for fishing, wildlife spotting or coastal views. Nearby, the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, set within the harbour walls, offers a charming insight into local sea life. The seafront has a relaxed, traditional feel, with a choice of beaches including the sandy, family-friendly main beach and the more rugged Monmouth Beach.
The town offers a vibrant yet laid-back mix of independent shops, galleries, cafés and eateries, many showcasing local produce, all within easy walking distance, making it easy to enjoy everything this much-loved seaside destination has to offer.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!
